Lodge Donates to SV School Dist.

On May 8, the Lodge donated $5,000 to the “Our Kids, Our Community” project held at LinkedIn. This project is hosted by the Sunnyvale School District, which provides school lunches for needy students throughout the school year. Total donations collected was $30,271. ​Lodge Serves Dinner at JW House

On May 14, the Lodge cooked, transported, and served a chicken stroganoff dinner at JW House. The Lodge also donated household items and gift cards. JW House is a respite facility located on the campus of Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Santa Clara that provides food, over-night stays, and home-away-from-home comfort for caregivers and families of patients in all Bay Area hospitals. Lodge Hosts PACE Pizza Party 

On June 23, the Lodge hosted a pizza party for the 20 residents and staff from four group homes of the Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE). The Lodge also donated household items, bed linens, sheets, and blankets funded by the Beacon Grant.

Lodge Hosts Annual VA Picnic​

Lodge hosted its 27th annual BBQ picnic luncheon for the Menlo Park VA Living Center. In attendance were 250 disabled veterans, family, and staff. During the luncheon, the veterans were entertained by the Kapalakiko Hawaiian Band. The Lodge also distributed wheelchair gloves and commemorative armed services bracelets to the veterans in attendance.

Lodge Serves the Homeless

On March 19, 2018, the Lodge completed a 6 month session of preparing, transporting, and serving meals to the 125+ homeless occupants residing in the Home First shelter in Sunnyvale. This project was funded by the $1,500 ENF Anniversary Grant.
